Joshua Rowsey, or “Rowdy,” was a hip-hop artist, Actor/Improviser, producer, and writer based in Durham, North Carolina. He was also the facilitator for the Blackspace hip-hop writing workshops and the founder of Med-City Cypher. Blackspace is a digital maker space geared towards black youth. His creative projects were rooted in community building and storytelling.
